The Mick family slipped off their shoes and tested the water. We made our way from the sandy edge down to the rocky river bottom where cool water quickly engulfed our feet. The light was soft and filled the creek below but only where the trees allowed so we hiked up toward a generous opening within the trees where light was flooding in. Their son quickly made himself comfortable jumping from one rock to the next only stopping to occasionally flip over a stone on the slight chance he might find a crawfish. Finally picking up sand and stones to see how far they might skim across the water. What a joy to witness and capture a child’s curiosity in nature.
Mick family, it is always a pleasure! Thank you for your continued support and encouragement.
